由北京市人民对外友好协会等单位共同举办的“多彩世界”国际青少年绘画邀请展自5月份启动以来，受到海内外媒体广泛关注。截至目前，中外媒体平台共发布相关宣传报导290余篇，40余个国家友好组织、海外华人华侨组织，全国700余个学校、艺术机构启动了画展组织工作。
欧时大参、莫斯科华联会、奥克兰华星艺术团、美国华夏时报、伦敦华埠商会、澳中文化协会、拉美华人、阿根廷华文教育基金会、阿联酋华星艺术团、泰国北京总商会、非洲时报、南非开普敦华星艺术团、加都人等国外媒体平台，环球网、国际在线、中国外文局美洲传播中心（北京周报）、北京广播电视台青年频道、北京青年报、北京市政府国际版门户网站、健康时报、澳门日报、香港文汇网、香港《中华时报》、微言环保、清洁美丽世界、中国人民大学、世界美育、笔墨中国、文化中国·水立方杯等国内媒体平台纷纷发文，呼吁青少年拿起画笔，画下自己心目中的多彩世界，参与生物多样性保护行动。
